This may just be a dirt road, but to us, it’s a symbol of hope and help.
After hours and hours of work, and with the incredible generosity of a neighbor and owner of Ritter Concrete who showed up with his equipment and crew, this once-blocked path became something else entirely—it became a way in.
A way forward.
We finally saw what we had been dreaming about: actual progress. Not a completed farm. Not garden beds or fencing. Just a road cleared enough to walk and drive and dream a little deeper.
We are so thankful for the kindness and support of those around us. Without it, we truly couldn’t do this alone.
This cleared road is a small victory, but to us it felt monumental.
