Just a few weeks ago, we shared about the unexpected roadblock we hit. We were told we needed professionally engineered site plans before we could build anything permanent on the farm. It was a heavy moment. We were at a standstill, unsure how we would move forward.
Today, we are overjoyed to share that Sheffler & Company, Inc., a local engineering firm, has stepped in with a generous grant to provide those site plans. Their support is not just a donation of professional services. It is a powerful reminder that we are not walking this path alone.
This breakthrough clears one of the biggest hurdles standing in our way and brings us one step closer to making the farm a reality.
We are incredibly grateful to Sheffler & Company for choosing to invest in this vision and for standing with some of the most vulnerable members of our community. Their belief in our mission gives us renewed hope and momentum.
We still need your encouragement and support. We thought the site plans would be the biggest challenge, but we have now learned that stormwater requirements can sometimes cost more than the farm itself. Our hope is to find an affordable solution that meets the requirements and allows us to move forward.
Even when the road feels uncertain, we believe something big is happening here. Provision continues to show up in the most unexpected ways.
Thank you for believing in this dream with us. Every harvest begins with hope.
With grateful hearts,
